Description

I’ve invested over 18 years of my life to serve multinational companies, government-linked companies and public listed companies in South East Asia and the Middle East in the areas of leadership talent development and organisational development.

Within that 18 years, my key focus areas lie in (a) understanding and matching customer needs; (b) co-creating proposals that effectively addresses the scope of work; (c) designing and developing programs and activities to deliver the pre-determined results; (d) measure the effectiveness of the initiative rolled out; (e) assess and improve weaker areas as part of continuous learning and improvement habits; and (f) strive to beat best performance level.

I’ve also gained  the depths and breadths of running and growing businesses in several industries. This covers aspects from planning to execution through people, process and technology enablement.

I sold my business in 2020 to plan for the next phase of my life. That’s because I always believe that living a meaningful life transcends beyond work.

Although I’m a born buddhist, I didn’t pay much attention to the principles of buddhism until the second half of 2021. Since then, I aim to incorporate the gems of buddhism into my daily living. It’s a journey that I’m enjoying to travel in.

Education

University of Hard Knocks

1966 to present in progress

Although I have formal tertiary qualification, I felt the lessons I’ve learned, still learning and will continue to learn from my daily living are so much more useful and practical in forming who I am today. It’s also because of these lessons that helped me to thrive in my people development career spanning over two decades.
